ROVING DONKEY FARM

Roving Donkey Farm is owned and operated by the Martin family just outside of Bismarck, North Dakota and has been in operation since 2012.  Lori is primarily responsible for the plant and marketing side of the farm.  Kevin works as a Land Surveyor during the week and handles most of the heavy lifting and construction projects.  They take great delight in the two little people (Ella - 11 and Owen - 8) they have brought into the world who keep them entertained on a daily basis.

They use intensive practices to maximize production on one-quarter acre of vegetables and fruit. Biological practices that restore the land and providing high quality, local food to the community are some of their current passions.

In addition to being a founding board member of BisMarket, a local farmers market, Lori also promotes local agriculture by speaking at various conferences throughout the year.
